The rules for using PØRTAL S., said plainly.
What this is
PØRTAL S. is a free app for writing screenplays in real industry format. It is a personal project by José P. Miguel, not a company.
PØRTAL STUDIØ, by the same person, takes a film from the script to the festivals, with the whole crew. These terms cover both. What goes into a project belongs to whoever put it there and to the film’s production, not to me.
Using it means accepting these terms.
Your scripts are yours
What you write here is yours and stays yours. I claim no rights over your work, use it for nothing, and show it to nobody.
On a script written by several people, who owns what is between you — the app does not decide authorship. It is kept under the account of whoever started it, and that person is the one who can delete it.
Your account
You choose the username and the password. You can change it at any time from the home screen once you are signed in.
The password is stored only as a hash, so nobody can read it back — me included. There is no automatic reset either: an account here has no real email address for a link to be sent to.
If you forget it, write to portalsscript@gmail.com and I will set you a new one by hand. First I will ask you for the names of a few of the scripts in the account: only whoever uses it knows them, and I can see them on the server. It is not proof — I still have no way of being certain an account is really yours — so treat it for what it is: a favour between people, not a guarantee. Export your work regularly: it is the only copy that depends on nobody but me or you.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for anything unlawful, and do not attack it, overload it, or try to reach accounts that are not yours, or scripts not shared with you.
An account doing that can be suspended.
No warranties
The service is provided as is, free of charge. I do not promise it will always be available or free of faults.
Keep copies of your work. The app exports to Fountain and PDF — use it, often.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these terms removes the rights Portuguese law gives you as a consumer.
Changes and endings
The service may change or be discontinued. If that risks costing you work, I will say so here as far in advance as I can.
Governing law
Portuguese law, Portuguese courts.

O que é isto
O PØRTAL S. é uma aplicação gratuita para escrever guiões em formato profissional. É um projeto pessoal de José P. Miguel, não uma empresa.
O PØRTAL STUDIØ, da mesma pessoa, leva um filme do guião aos festivais, com a equipa toda. Estes termos valem para os dois. O que se põe num projeto pertence a quem o pôs e à produção do filme, não a mim.
Ao usá-la, aceitas estes termos.
Os guiões são teus
O que escreves aqui é teu e continua teu. Não reclamo nenhum direito sobre o teu trabalho, não o uso para nada e não o mostro a ninguém.
Num guião escrito a várias mãos, o que é de quem fica entre vocês — a aplicação não decide autorias. Fica guardado na conta de quem o criou, e é essa pessoa que o pode apagar.
A tua conta
Escolhes o nome de utilizador e a palavra-passe. Podes mudá-la a qualquer momento no ecrã inicial, depois de entrares.
A palavra-passe fica guardada apenas como hash, por isso ninguém a consegue ler de volta — nem eu. Também não há reposição automática: uma conta aqui não tem email a sério para onde mandar um link.
Se te esqueceres dela, escreve para portalsscript@gmail.com e eu ponho-te uma nova à mão. Antes, peço-te os nomes de alguns dos guiões que tens na conta: só quem a usa os sabe, e vejo-os no servidor. Não é uma prova — continuo sem maneira de ter a certeza de que a conta é mesmo tua —, por isso trata isto pelo que é: um favor entre pessoas, não uma garantia. Exporta o teu trabalho com regularidade: é a única cópia que não depende nem de mim nem de ti.
Uso aceitável
Não uses o serviço para nada ilegal, nem para o atacar, sobrecarregar, ou tentar chegar a contas que não são tuas, ou a guiões que não foram partilhados contigo.
Uma conta que faça isso pode ser suspensa.
Sem garantias
O serviço é fornecido tal como está, gratuitamente. Não garanto que esteja sempre disponível nem que não tenha erros.
Faz cópias do teu trabalho. A aplicação exporta em Fountain e em PDF — usa isso, com frequência.
Responsabilidade
Na medida em que a lei o permite, não respondo por perda de dados, lucros cessantes ou danos indiretos resultantes do uso do serviço.
Nada nestes termos afasta os direitos que a lei portuguesa te dá enquanto consumidor.
Mudanças e fim
O serviço pode mudar ou ser descontinuado. Se for algo que te possa fazer perder trabalho, aviso aqui com a antecedência que conseguir.
